Message of support for Mark Neumann

Don Holt wrote a great blog post (and he also sent the message to RPW Chair Reince Priebus and RPMC Chair David Karst) that I thought belonged on the front page.  Thank you Don for your kind words, for considering what is best for this great state of Wisconsin, and for your support.

Until recently it appeared that the race for Governor would be between Scott Walker and Jim Doyle. That will not now happen and perhaps it is a good opportuinty to now focus on who can be the best Republican Candidate for Governor.

I know both of you have known Scott Walker for a long time and undoubtedly developed a close familiarity and friendship with him; however, this campaign is TOO IMPORTANT to let familiarity or friendship cloud your judgement or responsibility as leaders in the GOP.

I have read the web sites of both candidates carefully and find that Mark Neumann presents by far superior experience, education, and accomplishments.

He is upfront about his stand on 'right-to-life' and the second amendment.  I have never heard Scott Walker address either of these important issues.  Mark has actually been involved in creating jobs, he has been involved in our educational system, has proven his fiscal conservatism while in Congress, is a proven manager and successful private business man and has actually done many of the things that Scott Walker can only talk about. 

I ask that you are fair, impartial and responsible in treating all of the GOP candidates with the same degree of attention, respect and consideration through the primary election.
